The Power of Agreement
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18: 19 (NIV) When I had bible study with my church families, I was reminded the importance of agreement between 2 people, then the above verse came into my mind. If we really understand this principle as husband and wife, many things will be achieved in our marriage. And this is applicable to any partnership not limited to husband and wife only. Sadly, sometimes we like to pursue our own thoughts or plans and force our husband or wife to agree to our ideas. The problem comes when both of us refuse to agree each other and persistently reject the other’s opinion. Hence agreement between husband and wife many times cannot happen.
