Trust His Protection Upon Your Life - Part 2: My Recent Story

Image
The second part of this title, I will share my recent experience with God where His protection was upon me. Since early 2020, I have been having some physical discomfort in some areas of my body. It started with my stomach pain (GERD) after my brother’s pass which lasted for almost 6 months, then I got my eye problem since last year which I am still seeking for better treatment. In June 2020, my right eye got flare up really bad which I lost 50% of my vision so I went to my Ophthalmologist for treatment.   Ophthalmologist ordered for a thorough blood check up to see if there is a condition that may trigger the eye problem. The result was organised to be sent directly to her and copied to my GP. On that week when the result was supposed to be out, my GP called me and asked me to come over. I was not sure if she wanted to see me to see how I went with the stomach treatment (I went to my GP for my GERD problem in May 2020) or for something else. Then I remembered this must ...

Trust His Protection Upon Your Life - Part 1: Trust Him in the midst of storm

Image
It is always easy for us to say that we trust God when things are going well in our lives. But the word trust really become meaningful and I would say powerful when we boldly say “I Trust You” to Jesus during our utmost difficult time. Trust is not an easy thing. It only becomes easy when things are under control. However many times God will allow storms after storms in our lives for some period of times before it gets better. When these things happen, maintaining our trust in Him will require a lot of determination from us to patiently waiting for something good to happen. If you are reading this blog and are going through some storms in life, I hope my blog will give you some enlightenment and some hopes that our God is a good Father. Our Jesus is our healer, He is a God of hope and He is our protector. We should trust in Him alone. Why I choose this topic? Because in the past years God has brought me into a journey with Him where He wanted me to know Him more than I have ever ...

Living in Your Calling - Part 2: Staying Faithful In Your Calling

Image
So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your  calling  as  a church planter  and evangelist, and fulfill your ministry  calling -  2 Tim 4:5 (TPT) Finding out your calling may be an excitement thing for some of you. We felt good because God has spoken to us and we felt honoured that God has entrusted us for specific area of ministry. Normally we can’t wait to get down to the ‘business’ as soon as we find out the will of God in our lives. Finding out your calling also could be a distress matter for you because you feel that you are not ready for His work. Perhaps you want to achieve something first before you can focus on God’s work. If you happen to have this feeling, I hope you can bring this to God. You ask Him to speak to your heart and give you the desire and the passion to carry His work inside you. The willingness must come from you and you can ask God to prepare you for His work. ...

Living in your calling Part 1 – Chase your calling 11  And he has appointed some  with grace  to be apostles, and some  with grace  to be prophets, and some  with grace  to be evangelists, [ a ]  and some  with grace  to be pastors, [ b ]  and some  with grace  to be teachers. [ c ]   12  And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12 (TPT) The above verse mentions that each of us has our own calling in the kingdom of God. Do you know what your calling is? Have you asked God what your calling is? In my early years of being a Christian, I have heard about this word of ‘calling’ many times. But honestly I could not recall if I ever asked God what my calling was. Maybe every now and then I asked but I couldn’t be bothered to get the proper answer from Him. I was bu...
