What Is In Your Hand?

Image
When we are in love with our Jesus, we would love to do things for His Kingdom. As we grow mature in Christ, I believe God will somehow speak to you and entrust you with His work. Many times He will not mention the task that you have to do specifically or directly. There are ways of how He will speak to us: 1. He will put passion in you over something suddenly. You might not enjoy or like this particular thing in early year but suddenly you become so passionate about it. 2. You will suddenly feel the burden on something, not necessarily the thing you love or enjoy to do. It just cannot leave your mind. You will keep thinking about it over and over and will have a burden on it. For my case, many times He clearly said what He wants me to do but didn’t tell me how to do it specifically. I have to figure it out myself on how I should do it. So I have to pray for quite sometimes to get clear direction. Below are some guidances for you if you experience that same thing like me from God...

How Joyful Are You?

A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul. But the one whose heart is crushed struggles with sickness and depression. - Proverbs 17:22 (TPT) This week sharing is very light for us but it is quite difficult to implement in our daily life. I love how the Passion Translation explains the above verse because it explains specifically what cheerful heart can do to us and what a crushed heart can affect our health. I would like to share my two experiences in the past that make me realised how important of being cheerful in our lives. I am a person who naturally never like small children. But here I am having 2 beautiful children with supernatural strength that God has given me. I found that having them as babies is one of my greatest challenges. When Hanniel was a baby, I had the biggest meltdown in my life as I couldn’t cope to take care 2 small children. When Hanniel just turned 1 year old, I started to feel pain in my right jaw. I couldn’t open my jaw as bi...

When you are disappointed with God - Part 2: Expecting Breakthrough

Image
Welcome back to the second part of my sharing “when you are disappointed with God”. This week I am going to share my personal experience on how I started to receive my breakthrough and healing from God. We all know that we cannot get mad with God forever. After all He is our creator and our God. He has every right to do whatever He wants to do. Most of all I need Him in my life and I can’t live without Him. Therefore in my disappointment I was determined to rebuild my relationship back with God asking Him to help me overcoming this. Below are some points that I would like to share with you if you ever get disappointed with God: 1. Understanding that your disappointment is valid to God. He is okay with your disappointment. You need to tell Him that you are disappointed with Him. Talk to Him, He is your father, your Friend, and your God. He loves you and wants to be close with you. 2. Ask for forgiveness every time you are angry. Your anger to God will come and go until you are f...

When you are disappointed with God – Part 1: Your Disappointment is Valid to God

Image
Disappointment is something that every human cannot avoid in life. As long as we live, we will always have expectations of what we want something to happen. Sometime we plan it really well so we can see the result that we want. If things do not happen according to our expectation we will be disappointed. Our reaction to our disappointment is depending on how desperate we want our expectation to happen. Sometimes we can let go easily but sometimes it is hard for us to handle our disappointments. As Christians God can use our disappointment to increase us in our spiritual walk with Him and to enlarge our capacity. We will grow mature when we respond well to our disappointment. I want to share with you my experience in handling my disappointment with God. However due to the length of my sharing, this week I can only cover for the first part. Yes I have been disappointed with God. I have been a Christian since 2000 and looking back at my Christian journey, I always be a grateful pe...
